Halloween in our neighborhood is insane! Our neighbors hand out candy to hundreds of kids and I am not exaggerating. Folks park across the street at a church and walk over to trick or treat. The first year I only bought one or two bags of candy and we quickly ran out. (We may have also eaten some prior to Halloween night).
This year was the longest route we have made and the first time we have walked without a stroller. Mom and Aunt Della kept the three littles at home and the rest of us took off. It wasn’t hot or cold and rainy, which we’ve had the past two years. I didn’t buy Carson a costume this year because he refused to wear it last year and went in ninja turtle pajamas. At the last minute, he put on his Spiderman top and mask AND cowboy boots. Country Spiderman!
Three little pumpkins celebrating their first Halloween! The boys had food all over their shirts, so my plan for a matching photo went up in flames. Which is fairly typical these days for any photo I imagine in my head. I laugh every time I look at Annsley’s expressions in the following photo series. I don’t think sister was sure about all her friends dressed up.
Happy Halloween! (As I write this beside my Christmas tree).
