I can’t believe my baby cousin is married! Although it’s been a few months already since they got married in March. So happy four month, lovebirds!
Heather, Lily, Weston and I drove to South Carolina on Friday and met the rest of the family there. Nick and Aunt Carried stayed with Carson, Parker and Campbell. We decided taking two babies who were just getting healthy didn’t make sense. Carson was pumped to stay with Daddy and Aunt Carried until we FaceTimed and he was NOT happy he wasn’t with us. I’m sure it’s one of the many things he will mention about his parents in therapy one day!
After the rehearsal dinner, we all went back to Kelly’s house and the girl cousins had a little lingerie party for Hannah. Poor Michael-as the only boy cousin, he’s always had to deal with girl stuff, but he happily skipped this event! After Hannah opened presents, we all gathered around Hannah and Stephanie prayed for her and their marriage. It was the sweetest moment, but as soon as the prayer ended, I was dying laughing. During the entire prayer, Hannah’s tears had been dripping on my feet and I said I felt like Jesus. We were all hysterical.
The morning of the wedding started off nice and eventful with me driving Stephanie to a walk in clinic and out she came with a flu diagnosis. Poor Steph felt terrible, but she was a trooper at the wedding. I put an entire can of Lysol in my car!
Hannah and David had the most beautiful weather for an outdoor wedding. Grandmom wasn’t able to make it, so we put the phone on FaceTime so Mom and Grandmom could watch her get married. Technology does have advantages, even if I can’t make it work most of the time.
My crazy cousins
Hannah looked beautiful and her dress and flowers were perfect for the venue they picked.
