When we announced we were adopting, Kristin asked if we would have to put together a profile book, which is what the birth mother will be presented to learn about our family. When I said yes, she offered to donate a photo session to us so we could have updated photos for our profile book. We met on Sunday night at her land here in town (which is gorgeous and now we want to be her neighbors) to take some photos. Carson is normally not cooperative in front of the camera, but she was so great with him and he smiled the entire time! He probably helped that he loves being outside and got to ride in the back of her truck.
I could seriously post every single photo because they were all fantastic, but I’ll refrain.
These next few were all Carson and not staged.
She also sent me home with an “adoptive mom’s survival kit” that was full of goodies and a sweet little card. Kristin and her husband adopted the most precious little girl last year from China, so she knows the adoption process very well.
Kristin, we can’t thank you enough for offering to do this for us! We can’t wait to have you take photos again when we become a family of four!
