Carson is still obsessed with horses, so we decided to have his 3rd birthday at Pony Party. It turned out to be the cutest little farm, which is always a gamble when you find something online. In fact, I would happily move in if they would take me. Nick told me I was a weirdo for saying it smelled good when we got closer to the horses. I say it’s refreshing.
This is what Carson does now when he sees a camera: squints his eyes shut and yells, “cheese!” It’s either that or a death stare-no in between.
I was betting that Carson wouldn’t actually get on the pony, but he surprised me! He had a death grip on Nick for the first circle, but let go and went around alone the second time. We will see if he takes after his mama and stays obsessed. Fingers crossed.
Please make sure you get a full look at Nick’s attire. He fully embraced the cowboy theme. (Although I’ve never seen a cowboy that works around with blazing orange socks showing).
When we sang “Happy Birthday,” it was exactly like his first birthday party….he got all shy from the attention. No crying this year, though!
I adore these shots of sweet little Emory.
Brandi, I wanted to make sure YOU were on the blog. AND more than one time!
I rode a few weeks before his party, so this gave me major horse fever. I’m already planting seeds to Nick about a future horse farm.
These two studs will be the face of my horse farm. Or next year’s calendar.
I will probably never snap a picture of these children where Carson is willing to smile. It’s going to be gold when I finally do.
Even his love for Colby didn’t work. I wish I could blame that on his Daddy’s genes, but it’s totally from me.
I got to go home with the two cutest cowboys at the party.
Happy 3rd birthday cowboy Carson!
